Local Linking

Google and other search engines proved that our concept of local linking works. 

Thanks to our heritage in software development, we have put together a unique Internet-based mapping engine which allows users to combine the power of detailed map searches with local business listings and other commercial interests.

BrightonGrid is the first in the series of local site listings created using our unique JUSTgridz engine. By combining online maps of Brighton and Hove with local business listings and events, we have produced an affordable portal on which local businesses can promote themselves, knowing that customers will be able to find them easily.

This concept has been developed over a two year period and launched in June 2003.

The basis of this site is from a chance comment from one of our retail customers, who was concerned that their customers might find it difficult to locate them, asked for our help. This led to the innovative project of providing something that is easy to use and maintain as well as informative.  It fulfills the need for an affordable portal for local businesses to advertise and list their services for visitors and residents of Brighton and Hove alike.

Many of our subscribers have received traffic directed from our site because of the local linking. With features, events and listings, as well as a build-your-own map to share with friends on the site, BrightonGrid is a one-stop information portal offering free services to all our site visitors. Of course, we would still like to have your feedback to make this site your choice for local information.

As a company who has worked with some of the household names in the industry including, Best Foods, Goodyear and L'Oreal, we have a culture of social responsibility to local communities. We have a dedicated team working on several projects each year highlighting communities to encourage working together.
